I love macro photography, and I think this is one of my all-time best macro shots. Taken in the extensive gardens at El Alhambra in Granada, Spain.

the sky is obscured by these draperies, and the draperies obscure a little bit of the spanish sun. these things made life bearable…

these lined the shopping area at puerta del sol in madrid. there were all different colors: green, red, blue, white…

The Watch

This was largely an accident; the scan for the photo CD I ordered produced this, although the original picture was plain-ol’ black and white. I like this anyway.

The three-layered effect of the foreground, middle ground, and background was unintended, but I like it. This is the lifeguard stand and the dock in the lake near my house.

The New York memorial for the bloodiest day of the Civil war rests atop the heights of the battlefield just behind several period cannons. I’m rather proud of this one.

Silver Spirals Converge

This was taken at the government locks in Seattle, WA, in August 2002. They have a little section of these sculptures; they’re supposed to be waves. I liked the way it looked when you look at the spirals inside one another, and here they are.
